Some fans who attended the Fargo Davies-Red River High School hockey playoff game in Grand Forks Friday night are wondering if there was some type of message trying to be sent by three fans in the Red River section.
They were wearing white robes and pointed, white hoods. Social media quickly caught on with a picture of the three shared among thousands of people. Some believe the students were depicting members of the Ku Klux Klan.
Davies High School is named after the late Federal Judge Ronald Davies of Fargo, who issued a landmark court decision in 1957 ordering the integration of black students in Little Rock, Arkansas. Red River won the game 2-0.
