Police To Send Reports On Fight To Prosecutors

Lt. Joel Vettel says the two agreed to meet at the location to "fight it out." One man suffered minor injuries. Police responded to a 911 call just after 3am.

 

 

 

 

Police say an assault in the parking lot of the Days Inn in south Fargo early Tues. morning involved a woman's ex-boyfriend and boyfriend. Between 8 and 10 people were involved.

Lt. Joel Vettel says the two agreed to meet at the location to "fight it out." One man suffered minor injuries. Police responded to a 911 call just after 3am.

Several people believed to have been involved in the fight were stopped and questioned in Dilworth. There were reports that a baseball bat and a gun were involved, but no weapons were found.

No one has been arrested. A report on the incident will be forwarded to the Cass County State's attorneys office to determine if charges will be filed.
