Fatal Crash Near Hillsboro

Slippery roads may be to blame for a crash that killed a Minnesota man near Hillsboro Sunday afternoon.

 

 

 

 

Slippery roads may be to blame for a crash that killed a Minnesota man near Hillsboro Sunday afternoon.

The victim is identified as Dennis Johnson of Cedar, which is just north of Minneapolis.

The patrol says Johnson was passing a semi on I-29 when he lost control of his SUV hitting the side of the semi's trailer.

His explorer went into the median and rolled.

Johnson was thrown from his truck and died of his injuries.

The driver of the semi, a Winnipeg man, was not injured.
