WATFORD CITY, N.D. (AP) - Fire and health officials are investigating a blaze at an industrial building in the western North Dakota oil patch.
Steve's Spray Foam about a mile southeast of Watford City caught fire Tuesday morning, sending multi-colored smoke into the air.
Some nearby homes and a crew camp were evacuated as a precaution. McKenzie County Emergency Manager Jerry Samuelson says residents were allowed back in a few hours and no injuries were reported.
The company provides insulation for tanks used in the oil fields. Samuelson says company officials told authorities there were no toxic chemicals on site.
