Some NDSU faculty members are upset over the President Bresciani's decision to freeze sex- education funds.

A rally was held on campus for those in support of what's being called "academic freedom."

Faculty and students marched together to the steps of NDSU's administration building, hoping to get their message heard.

Bresciani froze funds that would have help launch a sex education program involving Planned Parenthood.

Some faculty say Bresciani was facing political pressure when he froze the $1.2 million dollar federal grant.

Bresciani says the decision to freeze the funds is a legal one.

State law says federal funds cannot pass through the state treasury involving an organization that performs, refers or encourages abortion.
