VERMILLION, S.D. (AP)--Marshall Bjorklund scored 23 points, grabbed eight rebounds and North Dakota State shot nearly 64 percent from the field in a 92-66 win over South Dakota on Thursday night. Bjorklund sparked an 8-0 run to begin the game with two quick lay-ups and North Dakota State (12-3, 3-0 Summit) never looked back. The Bison shot 63.8 percent from the field, making 37 of 58 attempts including 10 3-pointers and out-rebounded the Coyotes 32-20. North Dakota State dominated inside the paint, outscoring South Dakota 46-22. Taylor Braun scored 14 of his 19 points in the first half for the Bison, Mike Felt had 15 points while hitting five 3-pointers and Jordan Aaberg had 12 points. Casey Kasperbauer led South Dakota (6-9, 2-1) with 15 points by hitting five 3-pointers and Brandon Bos scored 14 points. The two teams combined to hit 19 shots from beyond the arc.
