There are indications that North Dakota's crime rate is on the rise.
Attorney General Wayne Stenehjem says he hasn't yet compiled the numbers, but he tells KFGO News that the number of crimes appear to be outpacing the population growth.
The trend includes aggravated assaults--which have been on the rise for the past ten years.
