Fire Destroys Ada Elevator

A massive fire in Ada, Minnesota has destroyed the Triple Crown Elevator.

A massive fire in Ada, Minnesota has destroyed the Triple Crown Elevator.

The elevator is located on main street in Ada right in the heart of the community.

It was reported about 6:00 last night and at it's peak flames could be seen for several miles.

Sections of the town have been shut down because of falling debris.

Departments from neighboring cities Borup, Twin Valley, Halstad, Hendrum, Perley, Gary, Crookston are also assisting in the fight.

And the Moorhead fire department brought in a ladder truck.

Firefighters worked hard to keep the fire from spreading to nearby business.

The fire is believed to have started at the top of the elevator.

No word on any injuries.
