The Timberwolves are reporting that All-Star forward Kevin Love will not need to undergo surgery on his broken hand. Love suffered two fractures in his shooting hand Wednesday while working out.
Wolves President David Kahn says Love broke his left hand at almost the same time during the 2009-2010 preseason. Kahn says the fractured bones on Love's right hand are expected to heal on their own.
Love flew to New York to see the specialist who performed his surgery three years ago for a second opinion.
