UND Names VP For University And Public Affairs

The University of North Dakota has named its first vice president for university and public affairs.

 

 

 

 

GRAND FORKS, N.D. (AP) - The University of North Dakota has named its first vice president for university and public affairs.

Susan Balcom Walton will oversee the office of university relations and lead efforts in marketing, public and media relations, government and community relations. She is scheduled to start at UND on July 2.

Walton now serves as an associate professor of public relations at Brigham Young University and recently completed a term as associate chair for student media at the school based in Provo, Utah.
