Former U.S. Sen. Byron Dorgan says Hillary Clinton may be a player in the 2016 presidential election.

In an interview with CBS, former President Bill Clinton said he doesn't know whether or not his wife will seek his old job, but he left the possibility open.

Dorgan tells MSNBC he has no inside information, but says as Secretary of State, Mrs. Clinton has "instant credibility."

Hillary Clinton sought the presidency in 2008 but lost the Democratic nomination battle to Barack Obama.
