PRIOR LAKE, Minn. (AP) - A popular Minnesota casino is starting to sell alcoholic drinks in its hotel.
The Mystic Lake Casino Hotel will begin offering beer, wine and liquor at its Mystic Steakhouse Wednesday.
Alcohol also will be offered in meeting and convention areas of the Prior Lake casino complex starting Wednesday, and at the hotel's Meadows Bar and Grille when renovations are completed November 14th.
Drink service at the Mystic Showroom will start Nov. 21, but hotel guests will not be able to order alcohol through room service.
The Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux Community has received approvals from the U.S. Bureau of Indian Affairs and the Minnesota Department of Public Safety for serving drinks.
Mystic Lake says adding alcohol sales will create about 70 new jobs.
