BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) - A North Dakota man has been scheduled to more than four years in prison for attacking his dad with a baseball bat.
Felix Wallette Jr., of Rugby, is charged in federal court with two counts, including domestic assault by a habitual offender.
He pleaded guilty in September.
Authorities say the younger Wallette assaulted Felix Wallette Sr. in September 2011.
The defendant was eligible for the habitual offender charge because of at least two previous convictions for domestic assault.
U.S. District Judge Daniel Hovland sentenced Felix Wallette Jr. to 51 months in prison and ordered nearly $3,800 in restitution.
