A southern Minnesota woman is dead in a tragically unusual, car-deer crash in Faribault County.
The state patrol says the 45-year-old woman hit a deer.
The animal went through the windshield of her car and then out the back window.
The crash caused her to spin out and she then rammed into a utility pole.
The state patrol identifies her as Catherine Treanor of Mapleton, Minnesota.
