(Minneapolis, Mn) -- Problem gambling is a very real issue that affects up to 214-thousand Minnesotans.

Cathie Perrault is with the Northstar Problem Gambling Alliance and says while most people can gamble very responsibly, there is a small percentage of people who cannot and they can cause a tremendous amount of pain for themselves, their families and their employers.

This is "Problem Gambling Awareness Week" in Minnesota.
