Man Hit By Train In Critical Condition

A man struck by a train in Fargo is in critical condition at Essentia Health.

A man struck by a train in Fargo is in critical condition at Essentia Health.

Robert Lamar Brown, 30, was lying across the tracks in the 4,200 block of Main Avenue when he was struck. The engineer sounded his horn and tried to stop in time.

Brown suffered injuries to his head and upper body.

He was being transferred by air to a Minneapolis hospital Thursday but medics were unable to stabilize him and returned to Fargo where Brown underwent surgery.
