A major stockholder and board member at Fargo's Bell State Bank has died.

Thomas "Mickey" Snortland of Fargo died of a heart attack over the weekend.

Boulger Funeral Home is handling the arrangements for Snortland.

He'd been affiliated with the bank for about 40 years. His father was one of the founders of the former State Bank & Trust.
