Minnesotans are urged to get vaccinated for influenza this week as part of the annual "Ban The Bug" campaign.

The state health department's Kris Ehresmann says a new option this year is the intradermal flu vaccination.

Ehresmann says some people experience itching after getting injected with the smaller needle, but it provides the same protection as the traditional flu shot.

Healthy patients between the ages of two and 49 can also get the vaccine in a nasal spray.
