Judge Refuses To Lower Bond In Becker County Murder Case

A judge has refused to lower bail for a Detroit Lakes man charged with murder and attempted murder.

 

 

 

 

A judge has refused to lower bail for a Detroit Lakes man charged with murder and attempted murder in shooting death of a Detroit Lakes man and the wounding of another at a home north of Detroit Lakes 3 weeks ago.

 

The attorney for Ronald Quiceno, 38, asked that the $2 million bond be reduced to $100,000. Simon George argued Quiceno is not a flight risk. Prosecutors opposed the motion.

Quiceno has not yet entered a plea.
