Sandbagging Appears Unlikely This Spring

The chance of serious spring flooding in the Red River Valley is slim.

The National Weather Service, in an early flood outlook report, says as things stand, says there's only about a 6% chance that the river in Fargo will reach major flood stage this spring.

Hydrologists say there's a 74% chance that the river will reach minor flood stage and a 12% chance that it will hit moderate flood stage of 25-feet.
