A ground search for a missing Fargo man ended Monday afternoon with the discovery of a body southeast of Fargo. The Cass County Sheriff's Office and Fargo Police have not been able to positively identify the body as that of Colter Dallman, 27.

A couple dozen police officers, deputy sheriffs and state troopers conducted the ground search. A dog from Valley Water Rescue was also in on the search.

On Friday, a limited ground search was conducted and the highway patrol used a plane to look for Colter, who was last seen in downtown Fargo on Jan. 3.

A family member has said that Dallman had mental health issues. Police do not have any reason to believe that Dallman was the victim of a crime.
