KFGO News, Sports, Capture 9 of 10 Categories In AP Competition

KFGO News won multiple awards in the breaking news, documentary-investigative and newscast categories.

 

 

 

 

KFGO News and Sports have swept another awards competition winning awards in nine of the 10 categories in the Minnesota Associated Press broadcast contest.

KFGO News won multiple awards in the breaking news, documentary-investigative and newscast categories.

KFGO'S Scott Miller, Jack Michaels and Ryan Gellner won for sports reporting and play-by-play.

The awards will be handed out next month at the Midwest Journalism Awards Conference in Bloomington. No other Fargo-based radio or television station received any honors from the Minnesota AP.

The recognition is in addition to 10 regional broadcast news awards given to KFGO recently by the six-state Northwest Broadcast News Association.
