Three-and-a-half months after Hurricane Sandy, the Red Cross has returned two emergency response trucks to the F-M area.
The trucks arrived by rail in Dilworth after they were used to feed families that were affected by the storm. Now they will be available for service in the Red River Valley.
The Red Cross says it is still serving 40,000 meals a day in the region. Local volunteer Jane Rudlang says she prepared hundreds of meals in the trucks when she responded to the storm.
Seven-hundred people are continuing to work in the region hit by Hurricane Sandy for the Red Cross. 12-and-a-half million meals have been served.
