An event billed as North America's largest sugar beet trade show is being held in Fargo this week.

 

 

 

 

FARGO, N.D. (AP) - An event billed as North America's largest sugar beet trade show is being held in Fargo this week.

The International Sugarbeet Institute is Wednesday and Thursday at the Fargodome. The event is in its 51st year.

Event organizer Don Lilleboe says the show has keynote speakers each day but that the emphasis is on providing a venue for companies in the sugar beet industry to talk with farmers.

As many as 125 companies will display products and equipment to the estimated 3,000-4,000 people who will attend.
