U.S. Senator Al Franken credits efforts by the Obama administration for a dramatic drop in the number of homeless veterans. Four years ago, 25-percent of homeless Americans were military veterans and now that figure is less than ten-percent.
Franken says many people don't realized the Obama administration has been focused on veteran's affairs and the president has done a good job on this.
Franken points to the number of V-A centers that have opened across Minnesota which offer expanded services to veterans in need.
