Moorhead Police Officer Travels To South Korea For International Special Olympics Torch Run

It was an opportunity of a life-time for a Moorhead Police Officer.

 

 

 

 

It was an opportunity of a life-time for a Moorhead Police Officer. Nicole Reno represented the State of Minnesota Law Enforcement Torch Run in the International Special Olympics Winter Games in South Korea.

 

Reno says the runners began their journey in seoul and traveled to over 40 cities.   42 countries were represented in the international games.

 

Reno says her team was made up of officers from all around the U.S., as well as Canada, Greece, Ireland, and Australia. She says they were treated like celebrities and they helped raise awareness about Special Olympics.
