More snow for the region today.

A clipper system will continue to spread from the Devils Lake Basin into the central and southern Red River Valley into west central Minnesota this morning.

After a brief break, another round of snow is expected to this afternoon.

Some freezing rain or sleet is possible across the extreme southern end of the valley this morning before changing over to snow.

Much of the area is under a Winter Weather Advisory through early Saturday morning.

That includes the F-M area.

KFGO forecaster Terry Spies says total accumulations of 3 to 5 inches is possible.
