Convicted Sex Offender Indicted On Child Porn Charges

William Upshaw was indicted by a federal grand jury on three counts of “Child Pornography for Distribution” and one count of “Possession of Child Pornography”.

 

 

 

 

A Level 3 predatory sex offender was arrested in Wahpeton by Special Agents from the FBI. 

William Upshaw was indicted by a federal grand jury on three counts of “Child Pornography for Distribution” and one count of “Possession of Child Pornography”. Upshaw previously resided and was registered as sex offender in Minnesota.

The indictment and arrest warrant were based upon a search warrant and voluntary statements made by Upshaw indicating involvement in the possession and distribution of child pornography.

Upshaw was convicted in January, 2000 of gross sexual imposition involving a minor in Cass county.
