Dilworth police officers are asking for the resignation of chief Josh Ebert.
Ebert was placed on adminstrative leave with pay Friday afternoon after internal complaints but he'll be back on the job today.
But last night, his department appeared before the city council asking for a change.
His officers are concerned over ebert's administrative duties, including scheduling, budgeting, leadership and ethics, as well as personal and professional relationships.
The city council refused to allow officers to speak at the meeting, saying this was an internal matter.
City administrator Ken Parke says no "official" complaint has been made, and he expects the matter to be resolved soon.
