A former sheriff's deputy in Arizona accused of driving to West Fargo to beat up a man who had an affair with his wife is to stand trial late this winter.

FARGO, N.D. (AP) - A former sheriff's deputy in Arizona accused of driving to West Fargo to beat up a man who had an affair with his wife is to stand trial late this winter.
The jury trial for Timothy Abrahamson has been scheduled for March 12 in Cass County Court.
Abrahamson has pleaded not guilty to an aggravated assault charge in the incident last September in West Fargo in which authorities say the victim suffered a torn ear, facial cuts, swelling and bruising.
Abrahamson is a former detective for the Maricopa County Sheriff's Department in Arizona.
