The Cenex convenience store on Wahpeton's north side already has a sign posted on its front door that it sold a Powerball ticket worth $1 million in last night's drawing.

No winner has come forward yet.

Store employee Beth Terfehr tells KFGO News things got pretty wild when the phone rang this morning and it was State Lottery headquarters. She says she was so excited she was shaking. A second call came from the lottery later to let the store know that indeed they sold the winning ticket.

Terfehr says the Cenex store is located along the HWY 210 Bypass and sells a lot of Powerball tickets. She's hoping the winner is someone from the area.
