A Senior Economist and Vice President for the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis says North Dakota is the "economic promised land."
Terry Fitzgerald, an expert in national economic research, was the keynote speaker at the Fargo-Moorhead, West Fargo Chamber's Economic Outlook Forum.
Fitzgerald says "We’re about to see a new North Dakota, a North Dakota that rises above the national average.”
A business outlook survey of over 2,000 Chamber members released at the forum found a strong outlook from local business owners and a need for a skilled workforce.
The survey was conducted by the Chamber, Starion Financial and the NDSU Department of Management and Marketing.
