Charges Filed Following NDSU Softball Team Party

Police say their investigation showed that younger players were forced to drink.

 

 

 

 

Two women were on the NDSU Women's softball team have been charged for their roles in a party.

Police say their investigation showed that younger players were forced to drink. Cassidy Szeredy is charged with harrassment and disorderly conduct. Alexandra Sobrero is charged with providing alcohol to a minor.

The Cass County State's attorneys office has decided not to charge another player with simple assault. The charges are a result of an initiation party for freshmen players. They contend that they were told to guzzle beer and down shots of liquor.
