Former Minnesota Governor Tim Pawlenty said he is happy assisting the campaign for GOP presidential hopeful Mitt Romney.
Pawlenty told CBS' "Face the Nation" on Sunday it's a role he's satisfied with and he's not interested in being the Vice President.
"I've encouraged people who've asked this question in the campaign to look at other prospects," said Pawlenty. "Anybody who would be asked to serve in a position like that would be honored to be asked."
Pawlenty, who competed briefly last year for the GOP nomination before dropping out and endorsing Romney last year, said he thinks he could serve the Republican ticket in other ways.
