Primary Voting Strong In Cass County

Polling areas saw a strong turnout on the first day of early voting in Cass County. More than 750 people cast ballots ahead of the June 12th primary election.

Polling areas saw a strong turnout on the first day of early voting in Cass County. More than 750 people cast ballots ahead of the June 12th primary election.

Cass County Election Coordinator DeAnne Buckhouse said she is seeing more interest in early voting.

"This is more the turnout for an early voting first day that we would see in a general election," said Buckhouse. "I think we definitely are seeing more interest in the early voting location and just more voter interest overall."

Cass County residents can vote early through Friday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Hilton Garden Inn in Fargo or at the Loeden Kindergarten Center in West Fargo. A third voting location in Casselton opens on Wednesday and runs through Friday at the Days Inn.
