NDSU Wins Conference Award For Overall Performance

North Dakota State has won its first-ever Summit League Commissioner's Cup for its overall performance in men's and women's athletics.

FARGO, N.D. (AP) - North Dakota State has won its first-ever Summit League Commissioner's Cup for its overall performance in men's and women's athletics.

The award is given every year to the school that has the best combined men's and women's finishes in all sports. The Bison were No. 1 in women's sports and No. 3 in men's sports.

NDSU won a total of six championships, in women's cross country, volleyball, women's indoor track and field, women's outdoor track and field, softball, and men's outdoor track and field.

Oral Roberts was second overall in the race for the cup and first in men's sports.
