The Clay County Sheriff's Office is investigating a fire at an abandoned farmstead.

The Clay County Sheriff's Office is investigating a fire at an abandoned farmstead.

Sheriff Bill Bergquist tells KFGO News the fire appears suspicious.

The fire, just south of Moorhead, broke out around 5:15 Tuesday night.

An old elevator and out-building were destroyed.

Firefighters spent about 90 minutes on the scene.
