It's the final step for the CapX2020 high voltage power line that'll run south and west of Fargo.

The Public Service Commission has voted two-to-one to okay the route of the line. Commissioner Kevin Cramer voted against it. He says he thinks more should've been done to answer the concerns of some residents south of Fargo.

The line should improve relability in the Red River Valley. It'll bring electricity to North Dakota from Minnesota.

Construction on the North Dakota leg of CapX2020 should get underway next near.
