A youth hockey group from Perham, Minn. has filed a federal lawsuit against a Pennsylvania company for severely damaging a portable arena.

The Perham Area Youth Hockey Association hired the company to transport the used, inflatable arena in six semis from New York City to Minnesota. The group claims when the arena arrived, parts including electric components, glass panels and a scoreboard were broken.

Damages were estimated at more than $330,000.

The hockey group purchased the arena from the City of New York for $60,000.

Attorneys for Heritage Hills Associates, the company hired to move the arena, wants the case dismissed.
