BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) - Burleigh and Morton county residents who are still fixing damaged homes from last year's flooding are eligible to receive portions of a $1.3 million grant.
About 150 homeowners will be awarded money through the grant.
The grant was awarded based on unmet needs identified by the Burleigh/Morton Long Term Recovery Committee, which includes city and county leaders, and faith-based and non-profit agencies. Money will be given based on financial need and the extent of flood impacts.
The state also has awarded $3.5 million to help rehabilitate approximately 780 homes in Ward County and $180,000 for repairs in Ramsey and Renville counties.
