Thief River Falls City Administrator Resigns

Thief River Falls City Administrator Jodie Torkelson has resigned, following a dispute with city employees.

 

 

 

 

Thief River Falls City Administrator Jodie Torkelson has resigned, following a dispute with city employees.

Recently 69 of the city's 73 employees gave a "no confidence" vote to Torkelson because of low morale and conflicts with her.

Employees say Torkelson was micro-managing.

Thief River Mayor Steve Nordhagen declined comment until next week's council meeting. That is also when Torkelson's resignation will be formally considered.
