West Fargo Woman Critically Injured In Car Accident

A West Fargo woman was badly hurt in a head-on crash near St. Cloud after another driver had a medical problem.

 

 

 

 

WEST FARGO, N.D. - A West Fargo woman was badly hurt in a head-on crash near St. Cloud after another driver had a medical problem.

The Minnesota State Patrol says 52-year-old Linda Mayo suffered critical injuries in a crash on Interstate 94 yesterday afternoon.

She was a passenger in a car driven by 50-year-old Joseph Mayo of Cavalier, N.D. He was also hurt, but his injuries were not life-threatening.

The car the two were riding in was hit by a pickup that went through a freeway fence and hit them head-on. The driver, who was having a medical issue, also forced another vehicle off the road as the driver swerved to avoid him.
