FARGO, N.D. – Radio Fargo-Moorhead’s Chief Operating Officer Nancy Odney has been spotlighted by Radio Ink magazine as one of the radio industry’s most successful women in the radio business.
Odney, who is also Chief Operating Officer for Radio Yakima and Radio Tri Cities, both in Washington state, has been at the helm of Radio Fargo-Moorhead since 2007.
KFGO Operations Manager Joel Heitkamp said Odney’s professionalism leads the Radio Fargo-Moorhead team.
"I have never worked with anyone more professional than Nancy Odney," said Heitkamp.
John Austin, operations manager for BOB 95 FM, said Odney’s success is earned day after day.
"As someone who has worked with Nancy for nearly the past 20 years, I can attest to Nancy’s leadership, hard work and constant drive," said Austin. "Nancy motivates all of us to perform at a championship level."
Odney told Radio Ink that success is a byproduct of effective leadership.
"Establishing a winning culture is a matter of having the right balance of business and creative systems that are motivating, fun and rewarding for the entire team," said Odney.
Radio Ink’s Most Influential Women in Radio issue is in its thirteenth year.
