A Fargo-based caregiver has been charged with neglecting two vulnerable adults in Moorhead.
Court documents say Victoria Krynski was working for Friendship Industries when she left two clients inside a van with the engine running for more than an hour.
Assistant Clay County Attorney Jenny Samarzja said one of the clients was blind and the other was in a wheelchair.
"Neither of them are of the capacity to make any statement or report anything," said Samarzja. "It's almost like having a newborn victim where they can't tell you what has happened, how long they've left alone and how often this occurred. Certainly, there are allegations that this was not a one time thing."
Krynski has been charged with two counts of criminal neglect. If convicted, she faces up to a year in jail and a $3,000 fine on each count.
