Dalrymple Appoints Admin Law Judge To PSC

Gov. Jack Dalrymple has appointed a state administrative law judge to a temporary post on North Dakota's Public Service Commission.

 

 

 

 

BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) - Gov. Jack Dalrymple has appointed a state administrative law judge to a temporary post on North Dakota's Public Service Commission.

Bonny Fetch will serve the six months left on the term of former Commissioner Tony Clark. Clark resigned last week to take a federal regulatory job in Washington.

Republican state Sen. Randy Christmann of Hazen and Democrat Brad Crabtree are running this fall to be Clark's elected replacement.

Fetch has handled a number of administrative hearings on Public Service Commission issues.

She is best known for handling the appeal of former Dickinson State University president Richard McCallum.

Fetch ruled the state Board of Higher Education was justified in firing McCallum for allegedly doctoring the school's enrollment figures.

Fetch is taking a leave from her job to serve on the PSC.
