North Dakota Republican Party Chairman Stan Stein says everyone at the Republican National Convention is a little less tense now that the main threat of Tropical Storm Isaac will miss Tampa.

Stein says he's disappointed that most of today's lineup has been postponed, and that the rest of the events have been crammed into three days instead of four. He says its worth it in order to give a big send-off for Mitt Romney, and his running mate Paul Ryan, later this week.

There are about 70 people in North Dakota's contingent at the convention. Had Isaac hit Tampa, the state delegates would have been forced to evacuate because they are staying at a hotel just 200 yards off the water.
