A city council member in Fergus Falls, Minn. has asked staff to look into the possibility of beginning a deer archery hunt.

Within city limits, there were 16 car-deer collisions last year.

Fargo started a deer management program six years ago.

Hunters are required to take a training course conducted by the police department before applying for a bow permit.
