Alcohol Factor In Becker County Crash

The Minnesota State Patrol says alcohol was likely a factor in a head-on crash on Highway 10 west of Lake Park early Sunday.

 

 

 

 

The Minnesota State Patrol says alcohol was likely a factor in a head-on crash on Highway 10 west of Lake Park early Sunday. 

 

The driver of a car was eastbound when an SUV turned off a county road onto the east bound lane.  The driver of the car attempted to swerve into the median but was unable to avoid the collision. The driver of the SUV,  Blossom Chwialkowski, 50, of Hawley is hospitalized in Detroit Lakes with non-life threatening injuries.

The Patrol says there was alcohol in her system.

The two people in the car, both from England, were treated for minor injuries.
