Trucker Blames Coughing Attack For Causing Crash

A truck driver blames a coughing attack for causing him to lose control of his semi on Interstate-94 west of Casselton.

 

 

 

 

A truck driver blames a coughing attack for causing him to lose control of his semi on Interstate-94 west of Casselton.

James Robertson of Page pulled in front of another truck. Robertson wound up in the ditch. He crossed back across the westbound lanes, hitting a tanker truck hauling oil. That truck rolled on its side.

Neither driver was hurt.

Robertson was cited for not using proper care.

About 200 gallons of oil leaked from the tanker. It is not considered a hazardous material.
