A long line of thunderstorms moved across eastern North Dakota and Minnesota Friday night. Damage reports include several power lines down southeast of Wolverton, in Wilkin County.
Tom Wallace,a farmer who lives southeast of Wolverton, says the power went out at 8 pm Friday. Kent, Minnesota farmer Ron Affield says some of his farm buildings were blown off their foundations. He estimated that winds reached 80 miles per hour. Several acres of corn have also been damaged.
High winds blew over a stage tent at WE Fest, where the concert schedule was delayed. Power outages and flooded roads are also reported in the Twin Cities area.
